The Go-Filter™ is a mobile water treatment system that provides operational flexibility to a site or industrial facility. All system components are skid mounted to provide for quick and easy setup. Once the site location is selected, the skid can be positioned accordingly. AquaShield™ recommends choosing a setup location that is as level as possible. It may be necessary to grade the location to ensure maximum operating conditions for the system components. Long term use, or the presence of unstable soils or rocks, could necessitate that a gravel base be poured to enhance operational considerations.
Hose connections can be made after the skid has been positioned at the desired location. A hose connected to the self priming trash pump needs to extend to the water source. Likewise, the discharge hose leading from the filtration assembly needs to be extended away from the skid and directed to the desired discharge point.
Once the skid is positioned and the hoses have been properly attached and placed, the power supply can be connected to the system. Both the filtration assembly and trash pump are powered by a single connection using electricity or a generator. The system is now ready for full operation.
An Operations Manual is provided for each site delivery. Given the modular design and automated operations, no extensive training is needed. Workers at project sites typically understand the operations of the working components such as the trash pump, electrical connections and pretreatment assembly. It may be necessary to review instructions pertaining to the filter assembly to ensure proper performance.
